Description

The student studies courses that provide  Islamic knowledge. Including various aspects of Islamic studies related to the provisions of Sharia in worship and transactions. In addition, other subjects in Arabic language and literature, general subjects that are considered requirements of the Arts Faculty and university of Tripoli.

Objectives

Preparing researchers specialized in Islamic studies.

Qualifying the students to be an active part of society in which they influence and are affected.

Qualifying students to be the poart of the Sharia judiciary after completing what is required to join the judiciary.

Formation of financial controllers and Shari'a auditors required for Islamic financial institutions.

Outcomes

·         Libyan Dar al-Iftaa.

·         Lecturer in Libyan universities and others.

·         Public speaking, guidance and leading in mosques.

·         Drafting contracts for financial transactions, and interesting in inheritance issues.

Entry Reuirements

·         The candidate must have a certificate of secondary or secondary religious education or its equivalent.

·          Providing all the justifications and documents required by the university for the applicant to study in the department.

·          Pass the interview exam, in case the applicants exceed the department's need.

·         The candidate must study at least (50%) of the department's courses (in case the candidate transfers from another corresponding college).

Study Plan

The Bachelor in Islamic Studies prepares students to qualify for Bachelor in Islamic Studies . The student studies several subjects which have been carefully chosen in this major to cover its different aspects.

It comprises 8 Semesters of study, in which the student will study a total of 121 units, which include 11 units of general subjects, and 80 major units, 18 of elective units. In addition to a final project in the student's major.
