Description

This program qualifies the graduate student scientifically & academically through studying specialized subjects & general subjects and enables him/ her to get benefit from students in the college of education in enhancing the State Institute individuals as he / she is a qualified individual in teaching and scientific research and to be qualified to work in educational institutes , society insurance and rehabilitation facilities. 

Objectives

1- The graduate student must be academically specialized in educational and researching.

2- The specialized must be academically able to rehabilitate effective individuals in social  , educational field sciences.

3- Ability to comprehension & scientific awareness.

4- To acquire an experience in scientific research  , elicit information from sources,  references,  writing reports and scientific research according to rules and ways of scientific research.

Study Plan

The Bachelor in Sociology prepares students to qualify for Bachelor in Sociology. The student studies several subjects which have been carefully chosen in this major to cover its different aspects.

It comprises 8 Semesters of study, in which the student will study a total of 130 units, which include 40 units of general subjects, and 60 major units

The English language course (1) for non-specialists is considered a compulsory, non-specialized course. It is required to be studied by all students of departments in the first semester immediately upon enrollment in the college, with the exception of the English language department. In this course, the student studies the most frequently used English vocabulary that the student needs and meets it in his daily life, such as Words related to the family, furniture, adjectives and their opposite, names of countries, nationalities, languages, weather, etc. The student also learns the basic grammatical structures in addition to the most frequently used English verbs with their conjugations in the present, past and future, as well as studying irregular ones.
