Mission

Preparing cadres of (social workers) with a high level of professional competence and skill that enables them to deal positively and effectively, and to advance and improve the quality of services provided in society.

Objectives

1- Preparing the competent school social worker in the basic and intermediate education stages.

2- Developing competencies capable of scientific research to serve the local community.

3- Providing students with knowledge and skills in various fields of social service.

4- Developing students’ abilities and skills in dealing with social reality in its various forms so that the educational process goes beyond merely being cognitive and cognitive inputs into the knowledge transfer and communication system to its contribution to societal issues and problems and instilling social values.

5- Preparing specialized professional cadres to exercise their role to address various issues and problems in the school environment, in cooperation with a work team in various specializations to create an environment suitable for achieving the educational and social goals of the school.

6- A link between the educational process as a tool for cognitive development and social service as a tool for harnessing knowledge for the benefit of the individual, the group and society.
