Description
The Department of Physiotherapy is one of the specialized scientific departments of the College of Medical Technology. It was established in 1994 AD. The department aims to graduate specialists in physiotherapy of high quality and keeping pace with the latest scientific developments in the field of specialization.After completing the study of the general stage courses in the first and second semesters, the department teaches (41) courses (theoretical and practical) distributed over six semesters. natural therapy.After the student passes the final exams for the eighth semester, he goes through a clinical training period of six months, during which he is practically trained in the university dispensary or one of the teaching hospitals in the field of various physiotherapy specialties.Upon graduation, the student obtains a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy

The educational program of the department was designed according to the latest scientific methods used worldwide to prepare the students of the department and qualify them so that they are able to use ultrasound devices, electrical stimulation devices, and many other specialized devices and equipment. A graduate of the Department of Physiotherapy can work in many departments in hospitals, clinics and health centers. A physiotherapist can practice physiotherapy for orthopedic diseases, neurological diseases, rehabilitation for the disabled, cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation, pediatric physiotherapy and wound care. It can also contribute to the control of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and arthritis. The physiotherapist has an important role in the sports field, as he understands the seriousness of sports injuries and can determine the necessary sports programs to recover

The Bachelor in physiotherapy prepares students to qualify for Bachelor in physiotherapy. The student studies several subjects which have been carefully chosen in this major to cover its different aspects.
