Faculty of Arts organizes a scientific symposium on the effects of the period in Libya
A seminar on the social and economic impacts of the current problems in Libyan society under the title "Challenges and Opportunities" was held this morning (25 May) at "Rasheed Kaabar" Auditorium at the University of Tripoli. The seminar was organized and sponsored by the Faculty of Arts and attended by a group of people interested in the effects of the period in Libya and ways to deal with them. The seminar was, also, attended by the elite of professors and academics from the universities and institutes concerned, headed by the President of the University and the deans of the Faculties.
The seminar was held in two sessions, after the opening speech delivered by the university president (Dr. Al-Madani Dakhil) , a speech by Dean of the Faculty of Arts (Dr. Mokhtar Al-Amari) and a speech by (Dr.Ali Alkabir) on behalf of the organizing committee. The first session dealt with the plans and policies necessary to face the problems experienced by the country such as lack of liquidity and high prices, as well as focusing on the measures to combat illegal migration and addiction phenomena. The second session tackled the role of research centers and universities in providing solutions, designing strategies for bodies and ministries, as well as the spread of culture to face these negative phenomena.
The topics were discussed separately 7 papers were presented by their authors following providing recommendations and conclusions covering the results of the dialogue, in order to create a meaningful dialogue and an effective academic and elitist movement to get out from the depth of crises to stability as seen by the attendees. present.
