International Prize Granted to  a Libyan female  Artist

The artist and faculty member of the Faculty of Arts and Media at the University of Tripoli (Hamida Saqr) won the international prize for the International Festival of the Italian Academy of World Arts, held in the city of Lecce in southern Italy in the ancient Roman theater. The International Evaluation Committee for the World Arts, sent a special invitation   to  artist (Hamida Saqr) to participate in this international event to represent Libya . Artist Saqr, in a speech on the occasion before the audience of the festivalsaid (I dedicate this tribute to my dear country Libya and to all the sons and daughters of my country, wishing my country peace and security).
