University professors conclude their participation in a program at the University of (Southampton)
On Monday, October 2, 19 faculty members from various faculties of the University of Tripoli participated in the eight-day University of Southampton Program on Strategies for Modern Education. According to Dr. Khalid Ghulam, Faculty of Arts and Media, Director of the Media Lab at the University of Tripoli, one of the participants, this program comes within the framework of academic cooperation between the University of Tripoli and the University of (Southampton). It aims to develop the capacity of faculty members with regard to the modern methods used in curriculum design, objectives, achievements, and curriculum evaluation.
The participant, Dr Khalid Ghulam told the Tripoli University website that the program was organized on 24 September and concluded on Monday (2 October) with a closing ceremony attended by the former president of Tripoli University Dr, Almadani Dakheel and the dean of the Education faculty. A number of professors and faculty members of the University of Tripoli, participated in the program . During the closing ceremony, a number of speeches were delivered on this occasion. All the participants of Tripoli University received a participation Certificate.
Dr. Khalid Ghulam confirmed that the participants in the program from the University of Southampton praised the participation of the Libyan professors and expressed their surprise at the performance of faculty members from the University of Tripoli. According to Dr. Ghulam, the participation of Libyan professors at the program was excellent.
