On Wednesday  morning , at the main meeting room of the University, The first  meeting of the University Council was held under the chairmanship of the President of the University, Dr. Nabil Al-Natah. The meeting was attended by the university's deputies, the deans of the faculties, the public registrar, and the director of the Center for Research, Consultancy and Training, During the meeting, a number of topics were addressed  and discussed, including the start of the study of the spring semester 2017/2018. The policy of free access and open educational resources was also discussed in detail along with explanation presented, delivered by Dr. Wael Abugris.  Furthermore, the form submitted by the Office of Audit to facilitate the procedures and the memorandum submitted by the Association of faculty members on the claim of leadership hours  were  presented. The activation of the decision to collect tuition fees for university services was also discussed.
