The preparatory committee for  Tripoli University  Poets Festival 2018 held a meeting on 12^th April at the headquarters of the Public Activities Department. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Mohamed Aboglida, to discuss the program of the final festival, planned to begin on 15 April 2018 under the patronage of the poet Dr. Abdul Mawla al-Baghdadi, Honorary President of the Festival, "The festival of  Tripoli University poets 2018 has become a distinguished cultural scene on the map of the cultural activity of the university," said Professor Mohamed Aboglida, Chairman of the activity committee at the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the university. Abouglida added “The events of this festival, which will be held at the Faculty of Engineering Theater on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of  founding  the university, represent a renewed start- thanks to the guidance of the great poet Dr. Abdul Mawla Al-Baghdadi."-  "A year after the other, the festival will witness development and enhancement of the cultural university's status, being the  source of Arab culture," Abu Jleida concluded.

In order to implement the directives of Dr. Abdul Mawla Al-Baghdadi, Honorary President of the Festival, the Committee would prefer to select Dr. Abdul Sattar Bashia as Chairman of the Referee Panel and  Dr. Khalid Al Oud and Dr. Reda Jubran as members for their pioneering role in the poetic arena.

The meeting was attended by: Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahim, Chairman of the Higher Committee for celebrating the 60th anniversary of establishing the University; Mr. Khairi Abu Habil, Director of the Cultural Office; Mr. Mohamed Ben Halim, Director of the Communication and Media Office; Ms. Mabrouka Al Rayani; Supervisor of the participating students along with Members of the festival Referee Panel   and a number of the participating students.
