University of Tripoli News

In the presence of Prof. Nabil Al-Natah, President of the University of Tripoli, Dr. Othman Abdul Jalil, Education Minister of the National Accord Government, and the two deputies of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Maaitiq and Abdel Salam Kagman,  members of the Libyan House  of Representatives, members of the Supreme Council of the State, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Adel Jumaa, the Ambassadors, the members of the diplomatic corps, the presidents of the Libyan faculties and universities, the President of the Students' Union of the University and some of the mayors of the municipalities as well as the former university presidents, deans of colleges, former and current university deputies, faculty members' union, department heads, faculty members, the General union of Students, Faculty students, and many other dignitaries and guests who participated in the celebration of the 60th anniversary.

The celebration began with the burning of the  University torch, followed by many speeches to mark the occasion . Dr. Nabil Al-Natah congratulated the university community of all its segments on this special occasion, which is considered to be an important memorial for every researcher, hoping that the great scientific process at the university continue in its progress and prosperity. After that the former presidents of Tripoli University were honored.
