Description
The Master's program in Microbiology provides an opportunity for students to gain specialized knowledge and various skills in all aspects of microbiology, from the functional and molecular structure of bacteria, fungi, viruses, and the diseases they cause, treatment and how to overcome and prevent them, with a focus on their relationship to the medical and pharmaceutical fields.
Objectives
This program aims to:
- Identify the functional and molecular structure of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and the pathological conditions caused by those agents in humans and animals.
- provide knowledge about the relation of the immune system to viral, bacterial, and fungal diseases and methods of laboratory detection of them.
- Identify laboratory genetic methods for the detection of microorganisms.
Outcomes
The program prepares creative graduates in microbiology who are qualified for research, professional and academic work in the fields of microbiology.
Certificate Rewarded
The postgraduate program is offered to students who have obtained a bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent certificates recognized by the competent authority for the equivalence of certificates.
Entry Reuirements
The postgraduate program is offered to students who have obtained a bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent certificates recognized by the competent authority for the equivalence of certificates.
