The activities of the first day of the conference (The language of the Qur’an between turnout and abandonment)

Today, Tuesday morning, corresponding to September 27, 2022 AD, the activities of the Arabic Language Conference were launched under the title (The Language of the Qur’an between Turnout and Desertion), which is organized by the Faculty of Sharia Sciences - Tajoura and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Tripoli. The opening of the conference was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Mr. The President of the University and the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and the President of the Libyan Arabic Language Academy, with a group of deans of faculties, directors of departments at the university, faculty members, researchers and those interested in language and its sciences.

The opening was also accompanied by the exhibition "The Noble Qur'an", in which a number of distinctive copies of the Holy Qur'an were displayed with various Arabic scripts, some rare old editions and different versions of the Noble Qur'an.

The conference continues for two days, during which the researchers discuss ways to develop and raise the level of learning and teaching the Arabic language and address the reasons for reluctance to study it.
