Description
This study program aims to qualify distinguished specialists, who have scientific capabilities, knowledge and research skills in Sharia sciences that are authentic to heritage and linked to contemporary, which qualifies them for teaching, guidance and consultation according to the best quality standards.
The duration of study in this program is four years, during which the student studies (60) sixty courses, with a total of (128) one hundred and twenty-eight study units.

- Providing students with research skills that qualify them to prepare scientific research in Sharia sciences.
- Meeting the community's need for education, guidance, advocacy and legal advice.

Entry Reuirements
The following conditions are required for the acceptance of those applying for the study:
• To have obtained a general or Sharia secondary school certificate, or their equivalent certificates recognized by the competent authority.
• To have at least a very good general grade.
• To pass the entrance exam or the personal interview as decided by the College Council.
• To be physically able to continue studying in college.
• If the applicant is a non-Libyan, he is required to reside in Libya for the duration of the study, and to pay study expenses and fees according to what is in force in Libyan universities, and to be proficient in the Arabic language.
• To submit the original documents upon admission to study, including: (birth certificate, certificate of good conduct, certificate of absence of criminal record, health certificate, and national number).
• Without prejudice to the conditions of study and learning in Libyan universities, and before the beginning of each academic year, the College Council determines the number of students who can be accepted to study there in a way that suits its available capacity.
• Controls of accepting a student as a transferee
• A student may be accepted as a transfer from one of the other universities if the following conditions are met:
• Fulfilling the admission requirements for studying at the aforementioned college.
• Submitting original documents approved by the department and college from which the transfer is requested, showing the courses studied, their vocabulary, number of units, and the final result for each course, and that the documents include an original document or form for the completion of the general or Sharia secondary school or its equivalent.
• He should not have been dismissed from the college or university from which he is requesting a transfer.
• He should not have passed more than half of the study units required to obtain a license in the major he is transferring to.
• Transfer requests are submitted to the college registrar within a period not exceeding two weeks from the start of the study
Study Plan
The Bachelor in Sharia prepares students to qualify for Bachelor in Sharia. The student studies several subjects which have been carefully chosen in this major to cover its different aspects.
It comprises 4 Years of study, in which the student will study a total of 121 units, which include 22 units of general subjects, and 32 major units
