About Quality and Performance Evaluation Department

The Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences was established at the Faculty of Education at the University of Tripoli in 1979 AD to be a scientific edifice to provide scientific advice and prepare administrative, technical and sports cadres qualified for this specialty and to interact positively with youth bodies and organizations inside and outside Libya, and to keep pace with development. In 1990 AD, the College of Physical Education became an academic institution for physical education sciences, and in line with the growing interest in qualifying teaching cadres with advanced degrees, in all physical education and sports science programs, and in developing programs and curricula, in order to meet the needs of society between modernity and development. In the year 2008, the general departments were merged. To specialized scientific departments that have outputs that achieve and consolidate science and knowledge and meet the needs of the labor market in Libya.
